Oil rush available for preorder

The Unigine powered game Oil Rush is available for preorder! After some delay, users finally have the possibility to preorder the game and get access to an early demo. In fact, some Phoronix users are posting their first impressions, bug reports and workarounds.
Oil Rush is a real time strategy game, but more in the "tower defense" style than in the traditional Starcraft style. You gain control of oil platforms that can be set to produce units or oil. The released demo has arised some critics among the early buyers, mostly because of its unintuitive UI that lacks tooltips and the boring gameplay. But boring is a relative concept and only by playing the game you will really know if you like it or not.
Today, Denis Shergin (Unigine Copr. CEO) has revealed to Phoronix some sales numbers: 300 copies have been sold so far in the first day (very few, considering the production costs) and 90% of them are Linux versions. The community has expressed their support to Unigine massively buying the game, even when some of them are not gamers or dont specifically enjoy this title's genre (my situation doesnt allows me to buy it, but at least I helped to generate a sale by posting in FreeGamedev forum). Shergin, aka binstream, also posted in the threads answering bug reports, clearing doubts and to thanks the support. C'mon Windows gamers! You still can catch us!
