According to The Linux Game Tome, Cyphesis 0.5.20 was released May 28. i have been checking the official Worldforge site and the forums, but nothing there yet. New in this version is data fully persistent, besides bug fixes and prfomance improvements.
Cyphesis is a small to medium scale MMORPG server with embedded AI. I have been looking at it, but it lacks documentation to easily start creating your own games.

0.5.20 wasn't announced on the WorldForge site as it was an internal checkpoint release with no new functionality. The release notes on the Linux Game Tome are from the 0.5.18 release, and I guess someone on the staff there just used those because they couldn't find any for this release.
Thanks for clearing that point! Thats why full persistence sounded known to me.
